Grizedale Forest

 Lake District Guided Walks are aimed at hikers who would like to explore the Lake District fells under our expert guidance without the need for navigation skills and lots of mountain experience. Our hikes range from short 'easy' graded walks, to summiting the highest mountain in England.

The only working bobbin mill left in the Lake District, Stott Park once produced a quarter of a million wooden bobbins a week, and employed 250 men and boys, often in arduous conditions Children can dress up and imagine what working life at the mill was like..

Grizedale Forest

 Ravenglass & Eskdale                   Railway

​

Heritage railway in Cumbria, England. The 7-mile (11.3 km) line runs from Ravenglass to Dalegarth Station near Boot in the valley of Eskdale, in the Lake District. At Ravenglass the line ends at Ravenglass railway station on the Cumbrian Coast Line.
